Hollows of Emptiness

This series was a collaboration with artist, Zev Gorfinkle. We created three pieces that are intended to anchor the show. These pieces — A Last Wish, One Last Glimpse of the Sky, and Gathering Light — are composed are composed of pre- World War II model trains of box cars. They act as reliquaries of sorts. They are spaces that hold and sanctify the presence of absence.
